| From the beginning of our Shorthorn breeding program, we have used extensive embryo transfer to focus on the most elite genetics in our herd. This technology allows us to greatly multiply the highest quality animals in our herd and offer these genetics to our clients. Many of our current donors are former show females including past National and Junior National Champion females. After our daughters finished their junior show career, we have continued to select one or two donor females per year to add to our herd. Though our herd numbers are relatively small (about 35
females) our embryo program allows us to raise exceptionally high quality animals that can compete successfully on any level our clients wish. |
