The sires used at V8 Shorthorns include both natural service sires and nationally-recognized AI sires. Our senior herd sire at the ranch is CF Valedictorian, a Reserve National Champion bull who has been an excellent sire for us. In the past few years, we have added two junior herd sires, K-Kim Specialist and SULL-GNCC Grey Goose. We are excited about these new genetics and look forward to their impact on our herd. In addition, we also utilize several nationally recognized AI sires in our embryo transfer program.

We are excited about adding this young herd sire to our program. An outstanding bloodline of CF Solution x the Delila D cow family. Though he was a popular show bull, we feel his greatest potential lies ahead of him with the impact he can make on the breed with his beef-business traits. He's sound, functional, moderate framed and packed with muscling. His first calves are just being born and they make us very excited about his future as a breeding piece.
